Sympathy

Thanks for dropping by, I have been a bit to sore to craft in the evenings so it was nice to have craft here today - which made me do something! Only four of us today but we chatted and all got a little bit of crafting done.

Today's card is for this weeks Less is More Challenge Week 78  - Sketch 6

Recipe:
White Card from stock
Simply Scored Tool from SU - I scored the line at 2 and 6 cm from the top of the card, then turned the card on an angle and scored the diagonal lines up to the parallel lines, then re-scored the parallel lines.
Fiskars Edge Punch
Sentiment from SU Warmest Regards
Flower from SU Live your Dreams in Marvy marker  Salvia Blueand SU Old Olive
Ribbon from stash
I matted card on black for the scan.

Loving Thoughts

I've been running around today - first met up with Shirley for a coffee - it was great to catch up - found a new magazine - an English import , it was a bit expensive at $17.95 - but it did come with 20 free stamps so I guess that's less than a $1 each + magazine, I showed Shirley and she went off to find it too!! Then a bit of shopping and to the Chiropracter, John's folks are coming to tea so an early post. Then we are off up the boat tomorrow. It was great catching up with Sandy and Joyce yesterday and hearing all the things they had been up to over xmas.

Today's post is for this week's Less is More Challenge -

Week - 49    Predominantly Purple.

White base card
Die cut
Stamp SU LIve Your Dreams
Sentiment from Imprint
Ink Marvy Marker  20 and SU Old Olive - also sponged the back ground with MM 20
Rhinestones from stash

With Sympathy

Welcome on this summery day - quite warm, but blowing a hoolie! Trevor went off the Vet to get his teeth out this morning, so I took the opportunity to wash all his dog beds - I think they were dry in about an hour. Anyhow he's back home and after a small feed he's sleeping soundly. - he has to stay inside for the next 24 hours so he'll be mighty pleased with that! Chatty craft group today - it's Joyce's last day for 6 weeks as she and Doug are off on holiday - lucky things.

Tonight's card is for this week's LIM Challenge - Anything Goes.

Week 33 - 1000 Challenge - Anything CAS Goes

Now we are going for the 1000 submissions.
so
Anything CAS Goes

If you make more than one card for us, you will need to post them on your blog and submit them separately, for each card to count towards our target!
You are doing SO well, thank you all!

Tonight's card is a one layer card, image and sentiment from SU Close as a Memory - I coloured straight onto the stamps with Marvy Markers.

Stamp and Sentiment are from SU Close as a Memory
Textured card is from DCWV
Coloured Markers are Le Plume Sapphire and Magenta, Tombo Olive

With Sympathy

This is a card sadly made out of necessity today for my friend Sandy who lost her Step-Father this week, my thoughts are with her and her family at this time. The blue has scanned brighter than it is, stamp and sentiment is from SU Heartfelt Thanks, Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folder. Sponged edges.

With Sympathy

Thanks for visiting, today has been hectic with work and then a cardio class at the gym! Luckily my daughter had tea ready when I got home, so I get some blog time tonight! This Sympathy card was inspired by Shirley - see here, using SU Big Shot Folder Elegant Bouquet and Stamp - It Sympathy Crane Stamp, card from stock. Sponged around edges of card, I love the simplicity of this card.
