Birthday Blooms

Thanks for dropping by, I had a very early start at work this morning as I had to fit a days work in before going for more tests - the results were better than I thought but I still have an abscess that will require 2 months of antibiotics - so no drinks for me on our upcoming cruise - hopefully they make some mocktails! We will be away for the next two weeks from Friday so there will be no card posts or challenges for that time - I will certainly miss crafting and catching up with everyone.

This is my entry for this weeks LIM Challenge. I've used a new stamp from Stampendous called Daisy Vase - I was going to add rhinestones to the centre of the flowers but I didn't in the end - do you think I made the right decision?

Week 40

Remember, remember the 5th of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot!
In the UK it is traditionally on 'firework night' that the 'Gunpowder plot' of 1605 is
commemorated. It was then that Guy Fawkes was arrested for laying explosives under
the House of Lords.

Our first week of the month is another Colour challenge and redolent of bonfire flames we
have chosen
                        Red and Orange

Card from Stock
Stamp - Stampendous - Daisy Vase - I hand coloured stamp before stamping with SU Real Red & Old Olive and generic orange and blue.
Sentiment from Stamp It in SU Real Red

This is a lovely image and yes I think you did the right thing by leaving off the bling. Great colours,
Will catch up Thursday? Hope you are not too stressed!
