Happy Birthday Sandy

Welcome to my blog, today is my friend Sandy's birthday so this card is for her - Happy Birthday! Sandy has put her back out so she needs some cheering up - visit her blog here. She has been very busy on her blog and has some lovely cards so it's well worth a visit. I had injections into both shoulders today and as I write this the local anaesthetic is wearing off and it's getting a bit sore - I think maybe a glass of wine and a sit down is needed (to toast Sandy's birthday of course!!)

Card is from stock.
Image is from a box of unmounted stamps I bought on ebay, coloured with gelly pens and 3D. The image was in one strip separated into 3 tiles so I cut and then layered them onto card.
Sentiment from Stamp It.
Gold trim and rhinestones from stash.

Real Red Xmas

What a great day, instead of our normal craft afternoon we all went out for lunch and then visited craft shops, Miss Marples, Paper Flourish -  so exhausting it was we needed to stop back at Endue for sustenance (read as coffe and cake) before heading off to Crafty Worm before home. What a trip we saw a lady (for want of a better word!) thumping someone through the driver's window of their car as well as a few other near misses - safer to stay home and make cards! Anyhow another 3 cards for Shirley-Anne's Christmas Card Challenge.

Springtime Smiles

What a busy week, I've had no time for card making or blogging until now so thanks for stopping by, we went to Renmark last weekend for the PS Industry Paddle steamers Centenary Celebrations - wonderful weather and plenty of other wooden boats there to help celebrate.

This card is for my entry to Lollipop Ladies Challenge #17: Macaroons  using the colours in the picture below and some gloss!

The card used is from stock the brown base card has scanned very dark - sorry about that, and I just had to use this paper from Autumn Leaves that I found at Purple Gerbra last week, I really liked the almost watercolour effect.
Sentiment is from SU Easter Blossoms stamped in SU Chocolate Chip, SU punches used and bling from stock.
